Film Analysis Activity

(4 December 2019)

Our students organized a film analysis effect under the chairmanship of GÜPDAT. Students from different universities also participated in the event, and the students watched the movie "Split / Split" and discussed the psychological processes in the film under the chairmanship of Associate Professor Safiye Sarıcı Bulut.

The psychological analysis of the character, which is the subject of the film and is at the center of the script, was made. The relationships the character established with the therapist were analyzed in the context of the therapeutic relationship, and the students shared on the subject.

We thank the students who participated in the event and wish them continued academic activities.

Orientation Tours Activities of the First Classes

(24 December 2019)

As part of the orientation program, we organized an orientation trip with our first year students of Gazi University PDR for the 2019-2020 Academic Year, including Anıtkabir, II.TBMM, Haci Bayram-ı Veli Mosque, Rahmi Koç Museum and Hamamönü venues, which are important symbols of Ankara.

During the event, our students had the opportunity to get to know Ankara, the city where our university is located, better and to improve their relations by increasing their interactions with each other.

We would like to thank the Head of the Department Prof Dr Galip Yüksel, who supported with his ideas in carrying out this activity; We would like to thank the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality for the support of the Tool-Guide and all the students who participated in the event, and we wish the continuation of their social activities.

Nursing Home Visit Event

(3 December 2019)

Our senior students of our department visited the 75th Year Nursing Home Elderly Care and Rehabilitation Center under the chairmanship of Prof. Dr. Şerife IŞIK and Dr. Leyla Ercan within the scope of the courses "Psychological Counseling with the Elderly" and "Problems of Adaptation in Life Times". The students had the opportunity to observe the institution and its functioning and chat with the residents of the nursing home.

Children with Leukemia Week Awareness Activity

(8 November 2019)

Under the presidency of GÜPDAT, the Student Community of our Department, our students organized an awareness activity on Leukemia in cooperation with LÖSEV.

During the activity, the students obtained detailed information about the disease and shared the drama games at the end of the activity.

Midterm Exam Motivation Coffee Break Activity

(Event dated October 31, 2019)

Under the presidency of GÜPDAT, the Student Community of our Department, our students came together by doing a coffee + dessert activity in order to gather motivation before visa and to exchange information during the preparation process for exams.

The students both shared the lessons they took and had fun playing the knowledge game about the field.
